First of all, you won’t be hungry! A juice cleanse is one of the easiest ways to begin reclaiming your health and well-being. It can be of benefit to everyone, especially if you have acquired poor dietary habits as a result of the stresses and strains of your daily life. Since the insoluble fibre is removed by the juicer, the juice itself is able to be rapidly absorbed by your body on a micro-cellular level, literally flushing your cells with vital nutrients that are bio-available.

The focus of the juice cleanse is to recharge and revitalize your body and mind. As the body is nourished and cleansed, so the mind follows with clarity and lucidity. Other benefits often experienced by guests include improved skin tone, nails and hair, sparkly eyes and a feeling of lightness, both physically and mentally. Some guests do lose a little weight (1-3kgs) if they have excess to lose but more importantly the palate changes so by the end of the cleanse you will want to eat healthy foods.

All fresh produce is locally sourced to support the local community and will be lovingly prepared by Michelle or Lynn, both of whom have years of experience in cooking tasty wholefoods.

LynnOriginally from South Africa and later Namibia, Lynn has always been in one way or another working, and loving food. A move to Portugal in 2010 changed her outlook on the way she sees food.

This comes largely from growing her own food and the amazing way nature provides for us month on month no matter what the climate. Lynn has been fortunate to cook for retreats in Portugal with the focus on Vegetarian/Vegan Ayurvedic, Macrobiotic and Raw Food. Lynn believes food should not only be about taste but about eating local, eating fresh and eating right for you.
